During his stay abroad at our French partner university École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture, Paris Val de Seine (ENSAPVS), Pyae Phyo Kyaw, a Master's student from the architecture course, won third prize in the "Arch'bois" ideas competition with his work "Pavillon Pont (Bridge Pavilion)". Wood as a material was the focus of the competition, which was open to students of architecture, engineering and landscape design. The award ceremony took place on 19 May 2022 in the Paris architecture museum "Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine".

This was communicated to us by Prof. Martin Wollensak, supervising professor at the Wisma College of Pyae Phyo Kyawr, at the beginning of June 2022. Enclosed are some pictures of the award ceremony, which were made available to us by the Fonds Archimbaud pour l'Homme et la Forêt for this publication - Photographer: © Frederic Beaugendre - Pierrick Bourgault.
