A group of students from the master degree of architecture and interior architecture designed a concept for imm cologne 2020.

For the students of the faculty of design the beginning of a design process despite all the digitization still includes a piece of paper and a pencil. To represent the courses' architecture, interior architecture and design this thought is included and should be translated in the spatial structure of the stand "Zukunftspläne" ("future plans").

The basic structure of the stand for the IMM Cologne 2020 is made out of a wooden construction and paper webs of presentation plans which are seamed together. The students developed the exhibition system on a floor area of 27 m². In this area the visitor can experience a design process. The focus lies not on separate project but on the representation of each faculty. Furthermore, it is not the goal to present the result but the development process of an idea.

Due to the arrangement of the wooden frames, there occur exciting spatial situations which give the visitor an opportunity of interaction. An additional element is the counter as a spot for a meeting between visitors and the exhibition team.
