Graduate Rebekka Jochem and graduate Jacobo Cuesta Wolf from the Design course of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences, were awarded the "Deutscher Verpackungsinstitut e.V." for their study project "Repost" at the German Packaging Award 2021 as "Gold Winner 2021" in the "Young Designers" category.

The two design graduates had submitted "Repost", a reusable, resource-saving parcel system made of durable material for the mail order business, which can be returned via the letterbox. The sustainable, colourful boxes are made of biodegradable plastic and are designed to make online shopping more environmentally friendly by means of a deposit system. Each box is designed to be used around 30 times. The shipping label is used as a seal that clearly indicates when the package was opened before it reaches the customer. "Repost" was created in a compulsory project during the degree course, supervised by Prof. Christoph Macher.

The total of 15 exclusive Gold Awards for particularly groundbreaking innovations in packaging were presented during the Fachpack trade fair in Nuremberg on 28th September 2021. In addition, all 52 packaging award winners 2021 were honoured and awarded at the industry event.
