The adh University Run is now taking place for the sixth time to mark International University Sports Day (IDUS).
The participation record of 1,650 runners was set in 2023. The adh hopes to attract even more running enthusiasts this year and invites students, staff and alumni of its partner universities to take part. There is plenty of time for this year, as University Sports Day falls on a weekend – a Saturday.
TIP: An hour before the start of Campus Open Air to warm up or afterwards to ‘cool down’ would be a very special activity, for example.
On 20 September, all participants will have exactly 60 minutes to cover as many kilometres or metres of elevation as possible on foot. The day's activity should be tracked via smartwatch or running app and then submitted online via photo or screenshot. Registration for the free run is possible at any time in the run-up to the event.
Runners who cover the greatest distance or climb the most metres within an hour can look forward to attractive prizes from the organiser in addition to their very successful participation. Further prizes will be raffled off among all participants and the most active universities will be honoured.
