Kulturraum Bar – In the course "Design 2" in the Bachelor's degree programme in Interior Design, basic principles of design are explored in depth in the 3rd semester, taking into account various design-relevant parameters. Spatial sequences, spatial impressions, material-appropriate use of building materials, contemporary interpretation of traditional images and integration of simple building services. The basic features of monument protection are thematised and used and incorporated as a constructive approach. Using the Alte Löwenapotheke in Wismar as an example, designs have been created on the theme of "cultural space bar", which will be exhibited and shown on site as part of the annual DIA'24 exhibition.
Organised by Nora Zimmermann, lecturer in Interior Design, and students.
