The travelling exhibition ‘Liveable City’ showcases examples of architecture and urban planning in Denmark. As a kaleidoscope of very different projects, the exhibition also aims to stimulate discussion: What actually makes a city liveable, who are we building for, and who is allowed and able to participate?
A total of 28 „best cases” of Danish urban development, divided into seven themes, will be presented. These include the themes of the recycled city, citizens and their city, open spaces and urban nature, cities by the water, cities and cycling, sustainable cities, and cities and children.
The travelling exhibition at the Wismar location is being realised in cooperation with the Association of German Architects (BDA) and the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences.
