The Caspar-David-Friedrich scholarship (CDF) is offered for particularly qualified young artists by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre, the Caspar David Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald and the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences, selected by an expert commission and finally awarded to the scholarship holders.
Application requirements – A CDF scholarship for an artistic development project according to § 1 paragraph 3 (Landesgraduiertenförderungsgesetz - LGFG M-V) can be awarded to...
- ... has completed a degree programme at an art college or a comparable degree programme in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,
- can demonstrate above-average study and examination results,
- intends to realise a project that can be expected to make an important contribution to the further development of artistic forms and means of expression,
- can provide proof of admission to the development project at the Caspar David Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald, at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre or at the Faculty of Design at the Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences, and that artistic supervision has been agreed there.
