Design: New deanship elected

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Oliver Hantke received the confidence of the Faculty Council as Dean and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marcus Hackel as Associate Dean. With Prof. Dipl.-Des. Stephan Schulz a new Dean of Studies and with Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Ludwig the Deputy Dean of Studies were elected. With the start of the winter semester 2021/ 22 on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, the new deanship will guide the fortunes of the Faculty of Architecture and Design for the next three years.

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Achim Hack, Dean since 2015 and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design from 2006 to 2012, will leave the faculty management after taking up the new deanship. So too is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Asko Fromm, who is relinquishing his position as Vice Dean after three years. Both will continue to be active in teaching.
