The Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Prof. Dr Marianne Schmolke, congratulated the Germany Scholarship recipients from all three faculties and expressed her sincere thanks to all the sponsors for their commitment. Following the presentation of certificates, representatives from the sponsoring organisations and private individuals took the opportunity to congratulate their scholarship recipients in person and get to know them.
Among the 38 scholarships in total are 10 unrestricted scholarships for students from all faculties, as well as 28 specific, restricted scholarships. For two semesters, each scholarship holder receives 300 euros per month, regardless of their income.
The Germany Scholarship has been awarded at our university since 2011. It is funded half by sponsors and half by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)
