With designs from the Master's degree programme in architecture. The theme of the competition was "Future Housing - Affordable and Sustainable Housing for Wismar".

The focus of the internal student competition was primarily on the topic of urban planning. Drafts were sought for new, future-oriented, cost-effective and climate-conscious residential areas within the Hanseatic City of Wismar. Master's students of architecture from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences, submitted their drafts for the 2022 summer semester. The students were supervised by Prof. Dr. Marcus Hackel, Prof. Matthias Ludwig and lecturer Lysann Schmidt-Blaahs. The competition was privately organised and funded by Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Hinrichs and Ing. Paul Stöckl.
