The exhibition features student work. The focus is on furniture construction, design principles and artistic fundamentals.
- Furniture – Design principles, materials science and materials used in furniture making were the topics covered during the restoration of antique chairs in the ‘Furniture Design’ seminar.
- Artistic Foundations – Wooden sculptures on the theme of ‘Skeleton’ showcase the students’ artistic work.
- Design Fundamentals – The design course introduces students to the complexity of the interior design process. The aim was to develop a spatial composition within a 7x7x7-metre cube, using only the floor, walls and ceiling. The focus was on creating atmospheric qualities, exploring emotions and the question of what messages the space should convey. Functions, lighting, materials and colour schemes were to be chosen deliberately to shape a personal narrative.
