Prof. Dr Christoph Schnoor has been teaching and researching at the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand, since 2004. This also applies to Ernst A. Plischke (1903-1992), who in various respects can be described as an "architect between worlds". In 1939 Plischke emigrated from Vienna to Wellington in New Zealand. There he initially designed rented housing and, with overall urban planning, community centres for the state. From 1948 he was able to realise houses and public buildings in his own office until he returned to Vienna in 1963 to take up a professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Schnoor is currently a visiting professor at the Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences.
