Since 29th September 2026, an exhibition featuring student work from the Faculty of Architecture and Design has been on display on weekdays from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. at the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Representation in Berlin (In den Ministergärten 3, 10117 Berlin) until 22th October 2026.
On 3rd October 2026, German Unity Day, there will also be an open day at the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Representation in Berlin from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.. We will also be there with a DesignShop, showcasing our work alongside other state and cultural institutions as well as the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Tourism Board.
Under the title „Designed by Wismar University of Applied Sciences. Assembled in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.”, the students’ work was already exhibited in 2025 at the premises of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK). The project and final-year work from the various departments of the Faculty of Architecture and Design was curated by Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Oliver Hantke, Dean, and Prof. Stephan Schulz, Director of Studies at the Faculty of Design. The installation was supported by workshop manager Tobias Gehrke and student Franka Amelie Nagel.
„Our students don’t design for a drawer; they design for the world. The exhibition in Berlin is an invitation to experience just that: works that pose questions, venture answers and demonstrate that Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is a strong hub for design and architecture education of the highest standard,” says Prof. Stephan Schulz of the exhibition.
