The design project focuses on the buildings of the 1950s and 1960s in the Wendorf district. The primary focus of the task was the relationship between the economic upgrading of existing building substance, taking into account current social, energy and climate protection requirements, and continuing to offer socially acceptable rents and a high standard of design. The flats are to meet the future demands of their residents, and the neighbourhood and the district are to be developed into a lovable and liveable "Kiez" for all.
