Application for the study course Design – Product and Jewellery, Bachelor

To apply for the bachelor study programme Design – Product or Jewellery Design, you have to pass an artistic aptitude test.

Your portfolio should show your interests and capabilities. It should contain about 20 artistic pieces of your own. This could be: freehand drawings, nature studies, sketchbooks and photography. Three-dimensional work can be added through / as a photography. Your portfolio should not exceed DIN A1. 

REGISTRATION for the online application via Studienportal of the University of Wismar (only for German students). After your online registration, you will receive an e-mail to the contact you provided with your access data for the application.

APPLY FOR THE ARTISTIC APTITUTE TEST via Studienportal of the University of Wismar. You will receive your login data after registering your E-Mail. Please choose as the degree » artistic aptitude test, in german means "Eignungsprüfung".

Application deadlines
You can apply for the artistic aptitude test from 1^st January to 30^th April each year. An application for a study place is possible from 1^st May to 15^th July of each year.

Good to know about the Artistic aptitude test
The test consists of the following: various exercises (sketching, written exam, practical assignment), review of your portfolio and a personal interview through the admissions board. Notice: The portfolio must first be brought to the examination. APPLY FOR A STUDY PLACE. After successfully passing the artistic aptitude test, you can apply for a study place via the study portal. For German and international students are two different procedures.
