Presentations by Wismar alumni and their employers from the lighting and design industry as well as dialogue on the topic of "light" are intended to strengthen the network of lighting designers. The event, which is free of charge, is aimed not only at alumni, students and professionals but also at all interested parties. Registration is requested by 15th October 2021. The programme and registration form will be published online at fg.hs-wismar.de/lightingdesignwismar.

Prof. Dr. Thomas Römhild has been teaching at Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences since 1995,
starting in the then Department of Architecture. "In 2001, it was Germany's first Master's programme in presence on the subject of architecture and light", says Römhild, initiator and programme director of the English-language Master's programme at Hochscule Wismar, looking back. "A special feature is certainly the project-oriented study with regularly updated tasks, but also the internationality, precisely the cooperation with students from all over the world", he comments further.
