During the ADCE Award Gala at the Design Hub in Barcelona on Friday, 22th November 2024 as part of the ADCE European Creativity Festival, the semester project "Memories of my youth" from the "Communication Design and Media" course at the Faculty of Architecture and Design was also awarded a prize at European level. The "Youngstar Award", which was presented for the first time, thus goes to Wismar, as well as two gold awards for the same work - once in the "Artificial Intelligence" category and once in the "Photography’"category.
In addition, the ADCE's international jury of experts selected 89 finalists from 250 student entries and awarded a total of seven gold, 23 silver and 27 bronze awards. Sara R. Scholl was also delighted to receive a silver award in the "Experience-orientated design’" category for her student research project "When is too much too much?".
Fabian Gröger and Sara R. Scholl (both 9th semester) had already been awarded two gold nails and a Grand Prix at the "ADC Talent Award" in the "Semester Work" category by the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC) on 7th June 2024 for their joint semester work "Memories of my youth". Sara R. Scholl's work had also received an award there. The student work was supervised by Prof Björn Kernspeckt, who specialises in "Advertising - in particular advertising methods and techniques".
