Arab World Institute

The design for the "Arab World Institute" was intended to be more than a building. A whole experience in social integration through integrating cultures in the architecture style of the building. A building that represents a joint between oriental and occidental cultures in today’s architecture. This concept does not only apply on how the building looks but how it works as well for example in functions, circulation, spaces. The spaces of the building are going to serve as meeting points also when there are no events held at the institute. The Plaza and the courtyard will always be welcoming visitors from different cultures and backgrounds to witness a creative experience in social integration and people connecting.
