Materials Library

The materials library at the Faculty of Architecture and Design offers students access to an extensive collection of materials from various fields. The spectrum ranges from paper, plastics, and textiles to plant fibers, metals, ceramics, and rocks. Examples of manufacturing processes and material applications are also available.

The materials can be viewed, touched, analyzed, and compared. Many materials are labeled and, where available, accompanied by manufacturer information. A microscope allows for detailed examination of the material structures. In addition, there is a material exchange shelf from which materials can be taken or contributed for your own projects.
